I have a very complicated family dynamic . My husband and i have been raising our 5 year old granddaughter ( my daughters child) for the past 4 years. Switching piano teachers?

I'm 16 years old and I play clical piano. I'm thinking about switching teachers because I don't think I'm getting very far with the teacher I have. I think he's an excellent teacher, but there's this other teacher that he is friends with that I have met before. His students are playing Chopin Etudes and Mozart Piano Concertos and I'm playing Bach Inventions and Early Beethoven Sonatas. Oil fired boiler fault. Running of it's own accord!?

I've got oil fired central heating and the boiler decides to fire up of it's own accord when the room thermostat is turned down or even off. Heard it fire up this morning, went downstairs & thermostat was at 5 degrees (room was about 15) so no need for it to kick in. Checked all the radiators and only 2 of them were hot, and others luke warm. Have turned it off at the mains electric and lit the fire instead - I wondered why the last lot of kerosene dwindled so quickly! Any ideas? Checked manual and can only find info on "boiler not firing" as opposed to "boiler firing constantly!" Thanks

16 month old son not talking, walking, or pointing.?

I have a 16 month old that doesn't walk, talk or point to objects. He walks on his toes mostly and stand up only against furniture. I've tried to get him to walk, but he refuses. He goes right down and crawls. It seems like he has no interest in walking. He also is not talking. Everyday I tell him mommy, daddy, baby, simple words and he just looks at me and either laughs or ignores me. All he does is moan, but it's not a pain moan. Pointing is another thing. He doesn't do that at all. I point to things and ask him if he wants it and he will just look at it and moan. That's his way of saying I want it. I have a three year old daughter who at his age was holding conversations with me. I don't like to compare my daughter to my son, but I'm really getting scared now. Everyone keeps telling me don't worry, he'll walk and talk when he's ready, but he's 16 months old and doesn't do anything. He's never been sick since he was born, he's very healthy, he eats very good, in fact, he's above average in that area. He doesn't use a pacifier and his hearing was checked and it's fine. Has anyone had this problem before? What should I do? Am I overreacting?

Some questions about pumping and storing milk?

Well I am going back to work on Saturday, but only to work 4 hours a shift because there is nowhere at my job for me to pump privately. Now my first question is how long can previously frozen milk stay in the fridge? like if I were to put the milk in the fridge over night to thaw how long would it last? My other question is if I only work one or two days a week at 8 hours without pumping in between would that mess up my supply? I ask think because I might try it out sometime so I can get more hours in at work. I don't think that people are degenerating so much as society. society is in a pitiful state. One only has to turn on the TV to see that. People are only concerned with themselves and maybe 5 minutes into the future. Common courtesy is evaporating and the media celebrates decadence and rudeness. Look at the television programs. Reality shows of people "telling one another off". Younger people think, "Hey these semi-scripted shows should be a model for my behavior" and voila we have a nation of people with the mental and emotional capacity of perhaps a 10 year old. The media "pushes the envelope" to shock people just so they will tune in to see what the controversy is all about. You are totally right about the arts. If I understand your question correctly, some computer printers have the option of printing "Iron on" images using special paper. A "screen printer" I ume you mean silk screen printing here, use one specific screen for each color being applied. It is usually fairly labor and cost intensive to set up a multi-color print station. The screens must be treated with a non-porous coating, not a vinyl applique, in the areas where the color will not go and the colors are then usually rolled by hand, then it changes to the next station for the next color. If the image is rather simple and colors not many, you may setup a simple unit at home. Suggest you search internet for hobby silk screen or such.

Me and some friends tried to book a holiday with haven today via thomas cook but when the agent who was helping us phoned Haven they said because we were not all 21+ they wouldn't accept us because they're a 'family holiday park' but when we looked in the brochure in the small print it says "you must be 21+ to book" it doesn't say anything about having to be 21 to actualy stay at the sites. My lease agreement states that my rent is $700 per month. My landlord gave me a 3-day pay or quit notice that states that I had to give them $1000 or they would procede with the eviction. Has anyone tried the vegan rice cheese slices from galaxy nutritional foods?

Ok so i gave up awhile ago on the whole vegan cheese thing because every kind I got tasted absolutely horrible and I ended up just wasting more money than anything because it isn't exactly cheap either. My local giant was just rebuild and remodeled with a HUGE vegan section(compared to what they had before anyway.) and they sell the vegan rice cheese slices made by galaxy. I was wondering, before i waste another $4 on veg cheese that may end up in the garbage again, if anyone here has tried it and what are your opinions? Is it anything like the veggie slices? I used to eat that, way back in the day, and it didn't bother me at all. I thought the tofutti cheese slices and the vegan gourmet were really bad though. Christmas Decor on the Ceiling?

I have a lot of gorgeous white willow branches that I wanted to use for Christmas decorating. The idea is to hang the branches from the ceiling, with lights attached and ornaments hanging from the branches. I'm trying to figure out if I should put the lights on the ceiling before I put the branches up or after I put the branches up. Or should I put the lights on the branches themselves? The other thing is-and this is the biggest problem- I have a cement ceiling and I cannot figure out how to attach something as heavy as branches to hang from the ceiling. I thought about maybe holding the branches up by nailing cord in a grid pattern from one side of the wall to the other as I add branches to the ceiling, one area at a time, then maybe running small white lights along the cords, then hanging ornaments from the branches. One thing I cannot do is screw holes into the ceiling. Am I missing something? Is there something I haven't thought of? Hmmm... maybe you should try including some metaphors, add more visual imagery? its very emotional and real, but sometimes its necessary when writing a poem to go back to it later so you can focus more on the structure and be less swayed by the emotions you felt at the time. Even though I know it is written sincerely, it could come across as affected as things written during a state of depression often do. Usually, I notice that after I've written during a state of depression. Not to say that you don't have great start, and that you don't have a lot to say, but I think you should really let it sit for a while until you can really focus on the formal aspects of it rather than just the emotional, and be able to see it like an outsider would. If you are writing from a depressed mindset, it won't translate very well to non-depressed people. Hopefully that makes some sense.

Talonavicular joint fusion/Hip bone graft?

I had my ankle fused in march. It didnt work out as planned and i am still in alot of pain. I now have the choice of either having a talonavicular fusion (joint just below the ankle) or putting up with the pain. I have been told that i might need to have a hip bone graft for this operation. Have any of you had this operation? As i am only 27 im worried about losing joints at an early age and this causing other problems when im older. Can anyone advise on this? Or advise on how much movement will be lost due to the operation. Also, does any know how painfull a bone graft is? Thanks.

They'll definitly pop out more, whether they are naturally high or not and may give that appearance. that may be enough for you. Its just a matter of how you carry your weight also. You could be suffering from reflux disease but hey, don't be getting upset at that. Have you tried any remedies like Gaviscon, it helps to settle you down a bit. It could be worth you paying a visit to your doctor though because i had reflux disease a few tears ago but had to have some surgery to correct it, i am fine now and can eat anything. Don't let this go on without doing anything about it as it is an unpleasant thing to suffer from. Good luck..

My mother has been experiencing bleeding which is very abnormal for her. She has been bleeding for three/four weeks since her period ended.
