How much is it gonna cost me in fuel to run a gas fireplace from October to March?

Just bought a home in NJ with a gas lit fireplace and I'm trying to figure out my total costs for the season. Also have Oil heat so between the two its gonna cost an arm and a leg so thinking about converting the fireplace to wood if the gas is gonna be too pricey.
