How would you format an extended quote MLA if it starts on the bottom of one page and ends on the next?

My paper includes an extended quote that starts on the bottom of one page and ends on the next (duh?). Do I keep it in two places or should I skip spaces on the first page to have the whole quote on one page? gRaciAs
