Would it be worth it to buy an Acura RSX or Honda Prelude?

with over 100,000 miles? i want a car that i could mod and have some fun with. i know these cars go forever but do you think i would end up dropping unnecessary money into it? Any suggestions for other cars (5 - 7k range)?
