How can people say Spanish is easy?

well it all depends on what your native language is. if you speak portuguese, or italian, or french or any other romance languages, it is easier to learn spanish because all of those languages have different tenses of verbs too. it basically depends on what you have learned as a child and what you are used to speaking and your accent.
