Doesnt whatever point the big bang started from sound alot like a blackhole?

So after taking astro this last semester I got to thinking...its believed that the singularity of a blackhole is infinitely dense, it has infinite curvature to space and the laws of physics dont apply there. Doesn't that sound a lot like where the big bang came from; a point with infinite energy,density and where physics didnt apply yet?
