Freshwater Aquarium help PLEASE! (need some advice)?

Stay away from GOLDFISH! You need a large tank for them and yes they could eat a small tetra. Depending on the tetras speacies id get a large angelfish, 5 dwarf cory's, and then get 5-6 female platy. Thats a perfect kid tank.
